Private Lessons
Alongside performing, teaching is my greatest joy in life. I strive to create a fun, open, challenging environment for each of my students to grow and learn the violin. My teaching is tailored individually to each student's needs, but always includes lessons on violin, music theory, and music history.
In the words of my mother, my goal is to make sure my student's "Play hard and HAVE FUN!"

Experience
I've maintained a private studio of violin and viola students since 2010. My students have ranged in ability level from beginner to advanced, and in age from 4 to 74! Each person has a different reason for wanting to learn in instrument - whether that be to learn something new in retirement or to learn to play their favorite pop and folk music; I strive to fulfill the musical goals of all of my students.
Location and Rates
Currently, I am located in the Tuscaloosa area and can offer in-home lessons in Tuscaloosa and the surrounding towns. I am also available for virtual lessons over Zoom and other video conferencing apps. My lesson fee includes not just the lesson time, but also the travel time and thorough planning time I do for each student's lesson. I offer 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons.
